GROUPE IDEC INVEST AND BUREAUX & CO INVEST IN A NEW CO-WORKING SPACE NEAR RENNES (35)

Reinventing working spaces together is their ambition at BUREAUX & CO, specialist in the development co-working spaces, and GROUPE IDEC INVEST, GROUPE IDEC’s investment arm. This is why a few months ago the two parties formed a partnership in order to jointly develop co-working sites in France. Following on from the refurbishment of a first building on the outskirts of Nantes (Le Calypso in Saint Herblain 44), this new building is situated in Cesson-Sevigné (35) near Rennes.

GROUPE IDEC INVEST has supported BUREAUX & CO from the very beginnings of this project by looking for the ideal building plot. This GROUPE IDEC subsidiary then steered the structuring of the project, and its financing through to leasing of the building. With 12 co-working spaces already launched in ten French towns, BUREAUX & CO is still looking to grow. For this new space, BUREAUX & CO, specialist in the development of co-working spaces, and GROUPE IDEC INVEST, GROUPE IDEC’s investment arm, have chosen offices in Cesson-Sévigné developed by FAUBOURG PROMOTION. In a dynamic economic area, this programme benefits from access to the Rennes southern ringroad (N136). “This second project in Brittany benefits from an exceptional location which confirms our choice as an investor and that of our customer BUREAUX & CO.“ adds Lionel MARY, CEO, GROUPE IDEC INVEST.

This project is the fruit of a synergy with a large number of players from GROUPE IDEC. This complete development was designed and built by FAUBOURG PROMOTION and IDEC AGRO & Factory. The last building was handed over to FAUBOURG PROMOTION at the end of 2020. The interior fitting out as a co-working space was then steered by GROUPE IDEC INVEST, so the building could be leased to BUREAUX & CO in the framework of their recent partnership. With total floorspace of 2,662 sq.m, three levels are dedicated to office spaces completed by a sports room and a cafeteria. The building is RT 2012 compliant and is undergoing BREAAM certification: Very Good level; and BREAAM Refurbishment and fit-out Shell Only level.
